As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.
For he knows how we were made;
he remembers that we are dust.

This blog is intended for born again Christians who are suffering from chronic illnesses or conditions, temporary circumstances or those who are interested in the subject of suffering in general. Most posts will be somewhat short in length, many containing quotes from Scripture, Bible based books and devotionals and occasionally a personal writing. I hope people will find comfort and encouragement here.

I love this Scripture.
It is sobering because of what we truly are (made of dust- of all things!), and how could he love us so much? He is the sweetest God ever. You can't get any better than Christ.
I used to have a silly notion that God only knew how frail we are because of sending Jesus to be a human being and experiencing our humanness through Him. Not realizing that He knows all things and knit us together in the womb. (Psalm 139:13)
But this Scripture dispels that notion entirely.
